Hey guys, how you doing? This is Michael Sino, the broker owner of Camden McKay Realty. I hope everyone's doing great. Uh, just wanted to provide you guys a little bit of history and I'm super excited to kind of, uh, fill you guys in on how we started in real estate 21 years ago. And how we decided to end up, um, living in the beautiful city of Ranch Cucamonga, California.

So, uh, before I get started on that, a few little, uh, history tidbits. So prior to 19 87, 19 77, excuse me, uh, ranch Cucamonga was not a city. It was actually, uh, unincorporated area of, uh, San Bernardino County. With three different, uh, areas. And those areas were Al Loma Cucamonga and Twanda. So, um, at, in 1977, these three areas decided that it would be in their best interest to, uh, to hold the vote and become an incorporated city.

So that was done in 1977 and the vote was, uh, uh, passed. And so those three areas, Aloma, Cucamonga, and Rwanda, all became Ranch Cucamonga, the city of Ranch Cucamonga, in 1977. So, um, there's still those different neighborhoods, so there's still neighborhood of Aloma and. Cucamonga and then Ana, which is on the east side in the city of Ranch Cucamonga.

So that's a little bit of a tidbit there. Uh, for history buffs also back in 1987, which was 10 years after the, the city was incorporated, um, I joined the Aloma Arsenal, uh, soccer club in Aloma. So that is the year that it was founded in 1987. And Alt Loma Arsenal was generally considered one of the top clubs in California.

So we used to train, as a name implies, in Alt Loma. We played our games and, uh, practice at, um, red Hill, red Hill Park back when it was really, really nice, uh, in the field were awesome. Um, and so at that age I was 10 years old. Um, I really didn't know that, you know, or was looking at homes for sale in Aloma.

But when I would hang out with my teammates and, you know, and we'd go to their houses, I realized back then that, uh, Al Loma was a very, very nice affluent area. And, and some were very desirable. So of course at that age, I didn't, you know, think about looking at houses or anything. But I knew in my mind that, hey, uh, when I get older, I think Al Loma Ranch Cucamonga would be a great place, uh, to live in and raise a family.

And so that's kind of what brought us here to Ranch Cucamonga. Hey guys, so let's fast forward 15 years later. So in 2002. Uh, when I finished my professional soccer career, I decided that I needed to move on to the next chapter of my life. And so really had no idea what what I was gonna do next. Uh, I reached out to my father and during that time he was, um, the broker.

For a small developer here in Southern California. So we talked and he said, Hey son, I'm a broker here. Why don't you come back to California and do some real estate with me? I said, okay, sure, dad. That sounds good. Um, really had no idea about residential real estate. My dad had been a commercial broker for, uh.

Geez, at that time, uh, almost 26 years. So he got his license in 1986. Um, so had some inkling of commercial development and, and real estate, but nothing with regards to residential. So, um, I believe that was actually a blessing in disguise, uh, because when I was, uh, hired as a, um, as a project manager, that was my, my, um, my designation by the company.

Um, I was able to get my real estate license in 2003 and basically thrown into the fire. So I had to, uh, buy vacant land. I had to, um, go to the cities, get those, those, those properties permitted, uh, to build houses on, turn 'em over to construction, and then once construction had the house framed, I would then, uh, be required to sell it because we were a small builder and we didn't have.

These beautiful, you know, uh, model homes that people can walk through. So, um, it really taught me a lot at that point, um, to learn how to deal with different, uh, different, you know, government agencies, uh, different people, uh, different characters, and also how to kind of think outside of the box, right? Uh, I really had to be creative when I'm walking people through, uh, a stick, a stick home.

You know, this is where the bathroom's gonna be, you know, the kitchen. Imagine yourself here in this. And so that also helped me, um, connect with people and, and learn how to communicate effectively, I guess, if you will. With people. So, um, so I was doing that. Things were going really well, of course, um, in real estate back then.

And then, um, in 2005, uh, I started dating my beautiful wife and my partner, uh, Lisa. And so we dated, um, we were married then, and now we are fortunate enough to have four healthy, beautiful children. And we have on top of those, uh, we have three dogs, a cat, a turtle. Now we live in the ranch, AKA Rancho Cucamonga.

So from the first moment I, I started in my real estate career, I knew that this was, um, the career and, uh, what I wanted to do with, uh, with the rest of my life. So, um, every day I get to meet new people. Um, I speak to people, I help people. Um, and I'm always learning. I don't think there's gonna be a day when I'm doing real estate where I can say that, Hey, I know everything because, you know, you're always learning on this job and there's always something that's gonna come up that.

That is gonna teach you something. So, so that is wonderful. And also it allows us to, to help people accomplish one of their greatest feats in, in life, which is to buy a home. Right? Um, and along with that, you know, we can help create generational wealth for families by buying real estate and Ranch Cucamonga.

What's amazing and also so rewarding about our profession and, and what we do on, on a daily basis is that. Um, every home buying situation and home selling situation is unique. So nothing's tailored the same, no outcome's the same, everything's like a puzzle. Um, and the most rewarding aspect of our job is seeing a home buyer walk into their dream home and seeing that look in their eyes, right?

Um, and having to, to fight tooth and nail and, and, and, you know, use all our. Our expertise and then all our, our relations that we have with other agents in the area, um, and securing that home for them and then finally being able to provide them the keys at closing is just, it's, it's amazing that look, uh, of, of.

Of astonishment and, and, and, you know, graciousness at the gratefulness, excuse me, at the, at the end when we turn over the keys is, is amazing. And then also working with our home sellers, right? Um, telling them, Hey guys, uh, we had over 40 people at your open house. Uh, and now we had so many offers. Uh, we got you guys above list price on, on, on the sale of your, your home in Ranch Cucamonga.

And now we can get you guys to the next step, next chapter in your life. So you don't have to worry financially about anything. Everything's taken care of. Every penny counts, and we wanna make sure that we provide you the bus service and the highest return. On those sales, and that's what makes my job so, or our job, excuse me.

So rewarding and every interaction we have with our clients, our, our friends, relatives, colleagues, is extremely important to us. Uh, we wanna make sure that every person, everybody that, that we come in contact with, know. How we run our business, that we treat people, how we would like to be treated, right?

So every interaction is extremely important to us. And we also want them, our clients and friends and and and family members to know that their goals, their timeframe is the utmost importance to us. So we are gonna do everything in our power. To make sure that we help them accomplish those goals. And by treating everybody with respect, we know that that's gonna be, uh, achievable.

Because when you have somebody that's motivated and you have another buyer party that's motivated, you just have to stay out of the way and get them to the finish line. So that's what we know and that's what we've done the last 21 years. And guys, our goals for 2024 are, are very simple. We wanna improve every aspect of our business from.

Perfecting our pricing strategy even more to help our clients maximize, uh, you know, the greatest return on their investment to providing buyers with the highest amount of value as a buyer's agent with this ever-changing environment. So there's a lot of things right now that are happening in the market, but we know that, again, by treating people how we would like to be treated and treating them with respect and listening to them, that we're gonna help them accomplish our goals or their goals.
